Since October 2017, all owners of quadrocopters and other unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) are required to register their devices with the National Television and Radio Commission of Thailand (NBTC). In case of violation of the order, Thai law provides for a penalty of up to five years in prison and / or a fine of up to 100 thousand baht (about 3 thousand US dollars).

Banyan Tree Bangkok is undertaking a series of enhancements to further improve its facilities and guest experience. As part of this initiative, renovation works commenced on 7 June 2026.
The first phase of the project includes the refurbishment of the Vertigo Rooftop Restaurant, which will be temporarily closed from 15 June to 28 November 2026.
In addition, enhancement works will be carried out in the Main Lobby area. To ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience, temporary reception and lobby facilities will be provided, allowing check-in and check-out procedures to continue efficiently throughout the renovation period.
All other key hotel facilities will remain fully operational. The hotel will make every effort to minimize noise and visual impact, and construction activities will be carefully managed to reduce disruption to guests.
The hotel's team will remain available throughout the enhancement period to assist guests and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
