Demolition and construction work on the Garden Villas at Bandos Maldives, as well as the construction of new restroom facilities in the pool area, will commence on July 1, 2026; the estimated completion date is November 30, 2026. Consequently, bookings for all Garden Villas will be temporarily suspended during this specified period.
For all confirmed Garden Villa bookings scheduled between July 1, 2026, and November 30, 2026, guests will be offered a complimentary upgrade to the next available room category. Should any guest prefer to cancel their reservation due to the ongoing construction work, all applicable cancellation penalties will be waived.
To minimize inconvenience to guests, the construction site will be fully enclosed; furthermore, all necessary safety measures will be implemented within the work area and adjacent zones. As the villa construction utilizes prefabricated structures, the project is expected to have minimal visual impact on the surrounding environment and will not result in significant noise disturbance.
Work will be conducted daily from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

A city tax of USD 12.00 applies to children under 16 years of age.
Guests will be required to pay taxes and fees in USD currency.

To arrange the speedboat transfer, guests should provide the property with the international arrival and departure flight details, including flight number and arrival/departure times, as well as the full names of all guests traveling. Contact information is provided in the booking confirmation.
Combined roundtrip speedboat transfers are charged at USD 55.00 per child.
Any extra guests, adult or child, not listed in the confirmed booking, will be charged based on the hotel's direct rates.
Private Speedboat transfer:
From 17.06.2025 to 31.10.2026, the following fee applies:
Adult 12 years and older: USD 282.00 per person one way for up to 6 passengers. This rate is not included in the booking price and must be paid additionally.
Child 2-11 years old: free of charge.
Shared Speedboat Transfer:
From 17.06.2025 to 31.10.2026, the following fee applies:
Adult 12 years and older: USD 110.00 per person.
Child 2-11 years old: USD 55.00 per child. This rate is not included in the booking price and must be paid additionally.
For bookings that fall on the night of December 24th and 31st, below charges will be applicable.
Compulsory Christmas Gala Dinner on 24th December at the rate of USD 257.00 and USD 129.00 per child.
Compulsory New Year's Gala Dinner on 31st December at the rate of USD 283.00 and USD 142.00 per child.
Child age policy:
0 to 1.99 years old — infant.
02 to 11.99 years old — child.
12 years and above will be considered as an adult in terms of accommodation and rates.
The resort hotel can only be reached in the following way: 15 minutes speedboat transfer from Male International Airport.
Guests must contact the hotel directly with arrival and departure flight details at least 72 hours prior to arrival.
Transfer fees apply to guests aged 2 years and over.
City tax applies to children over 2 years of age.
Bandos Maldives kindly requests that any cancellations involving guest transfers from Middle Eastern carriers be communicated as early as possible, so that rooms can be promptly released without being marked as no-shows. If guests change to alternative airlines, the hotel would appreciate being kept informed.
For guests requesting cancellation, the hotel is prioritizing flexibility by offering the option to amend stay dates to any date between now and 31st October 2026.
The hotel will waive cancellation fees if guests’ flights (Flight Codes: EK, EY, FZ, G9, QR, GF) are directly impacted and scheduled to fly until 15th March 2026.
This is subject to change effective 16th March after monitoring the situation.
The hotel understands guest travel hesitancy due to the current instability and will review exceptions for such cases.
All cancellations for exceptions must be communicated by 11th March 2026.
